Garzie + May was originally founded in early 2016 by 2 friends, Who both had a career background in Interior Design + Retail, as well as a huge passion for all things interiors, styling and handmade homewares.

When we first launched in May 2016, we spent most weekends with our Garzie + May stall at our local Sunshine Coast, Brisbane + Gold Coast markets. Eventually our website started to gain more and more traffic and sales and we began to wholesale to a few boutique retailers that wanted to stock our brand. This allowed us to stop our early morning starts at the markets and focus more on our online store! By early 2019, Ash’s garage was bursting at the seams with stock, so she moved Garzie + May into its very own HQ office and warehouse. 

We have always taken pride in our small business being ethical and fair. All of our products are made by a beautiful family in India who we have worked closely with for 5 years. There is something pretty special about knowing exactly where each product is made, how it has been created and who has made it, and we think this is what sets us apart from the rest. We absolutely love that all of our products are handmade with love, from start to finish, and no two pieces are the same. We also love all of our amazing customers, and we love how much they love our products too!
